PROGRAM
You will come away with the information you need to make a difference to our flying friends—whatever your green space. Elizabeth White-Olsen will share how she and her husband, bird tour guide Glenn Olsen, set out to re-landscape their typical suburban yard. Their combined love of birds and nature along with endless passion guided them to replace their ten non-native species with more than one hundred native species. Next step? The formation of their company, GO Native Landscaping. Hundreds of thousands of acres of crucial habitat have been lost to Houston’s development and landscaping practices. Elizabeth will reveal how citizens can support their local bird and butterfly populations. Join Elizabeth White-Olsen to learn how you can make a difference by planting one—or, better yet, many—plants that birds and pollinators love.
