PROGRAM

Our members-only holiday luncheon will include a show-and-tell. Plan to bring a favorite item from your home. It could be anything from your grandmother’s serving dish to a piece of artwork created by your child at age six. Perhaps you wish to reveal something that you either purchased on a trip or it was a cherished gift from a friend.

Be prepared to share what makes this piece so special to you or holds wonderful memories. It will allow all of us to make personal connections with our fellow members.

We’ll draw names and listen and learn as each person takes their turn telling about their unique-to-them object.

After everyone has shared their stories, we may have time for a second round. So bring two items if you wish.

COORDINATORS

Jeanne Perdue grew up in LeRoy, NY, where Jell-O was invented. She is now a technical writer at Occidental Petroleum, preparing field development plans, maintenance and operations procedures, technical papers, and concession proposals for the Middle East Support Team. Mary Abshier is a retired interior designer.   She also manages and curates Made in the Family, featuring vintage collectibles and hand-crafted items made by Mary, her husband, and her cousin . The booth is located in Alvin Antique Center & Marketplace. Leigh Owen is a connector. She is passionate about matching people with other people, organizations, and resources. Leigh is often told, “You know things!”
