Are you fascinated by a wide variety of subjects in the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences? Ever consider delving into creative writing, photography, studio art, or mind-body practices? Did you know you could take part in high-caliber short courses for adults at Rice University and not have any exams? Join Korin Brody to learn all about Community Learning and Engagement at The Glasscock School of Continuing Studies http://www.glasscock.rice.edu. She will give an overview about Continuing Studies at Rice University and its connections to the greater Houston community. She will also help you navigate through all of the exciting courses being offered in the spring 2019 session.
Korin Brody is the Assistant Director of Community Learning and Engagement at The Glasscock School of Continuing Studies, Rice University. She helps create, manage, and execute more than 90 courses and special events each year. She has been on the Rice staff since March 2017 and has worked in the adult learning and development field for over 20 years. Korin is also a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and formerly ran her own business teaching and training teachers in the area. She lives in Houston with her husband and two teen-aged sons. |
