Our meeting date is the last Wednesday of the month. Special event dates will be announced. RSVPs are due by noon on the Monday prior to each meeting as online registration automatically closes at that time. How to Tease the Words Out

Everyone has a story: you, your parents, your children. Not every story is bestseller material, but every life well lived is worth remembering. In fact, every life holds many stories. That time at the river, when your sister found an old rope hanging from a tree and yelled, “Bet I can swing out and jump in farther than you!” No one snapped a picture, yet it was a grand time worthy of being remembered. Someone should write it down. If not you, then who?

Chris Rogers is best known for her mystery and suspense fiction. In 1998, her first novel, Bitch Factor, was published by Bantam Books, followed by Rage Factor and Chill Factor. While continuing as a novelist, Chris also taught continuing education classes in writing at the University of Houston, Rice University School of Continuing Studies, and the Women’s Institute of Houston. Meanwhile, Chris has served as a ghostwriter for many people who have a story to tell but aren’t quite sure how to get the words down. |
