Our meeting date is the last Wednesday of the month. Special event dates will be announced. RSVPs are due by noon on the Monday prior to each meeting as online registration automatically closes at that time. If registration is closed and you find you can attend, please contact Mary Abshier to check on seating availability.

Step into the world of wine with us and join sommelier Macy Vance as we delve into her remarkable journey, navigating the challenges and triumphs of becoming a sommelier in the traditionally male-dominated domain. A conversation not to be missed, as Macy takes us on a exploration of breaking barriers, redefining norms, and savoring the sweet taste of victory in the world of wine.

Macy Vance is a full-time wine educator and wine writer based in Houston. Her undergraduate degree in International Studies was a valuable asset in the beginning of her wine education. She is certified as a Specialist in Wine and has earned her WSET III and her French Wine Scholar. Winemaking with its web of culture, history, and worldwide traditions fuels Macy’s passion to be a lifelong student of wine. Her appreciation for the level of labor and love that goes into each incredible glass of wine can be felt in her enthusiasm whether it’s in person or on the page. |
