Everyone knows Houstonians can recycle paper, plastics, and glass using the big green recycling bins. But what about mattresses?
Our speaker will divulge the inside information on food cans: How clean do they really need to be?
After a peek into the guidelines from the City of Houston Department of Solid Waste, you’ll walk away with a handout and an app to help you recycle things properly. This is useful, practical information you can use every day.
Veronica Lizama is the Deputy Director of Administration for the City of Houston, where she manages the Capital Projects, Communications, Customer Service, Community Outreach, Safety & Training, Auditing, and Recycling divisions after being promoted from Chief of Staff of the Solid Waste Management Department.
