Our meeting date is the last Wednesday of the month. Special event dates will be announced. RSVPs are due by noon on the Monday prior to each meeting as online registration automatically closes at that time. If registration is closed and you find you can attend, please contact Mary Abshier to check on seating availability.

Transitioning to Senior Living

Wendy stepped into her role in senior living in Spring of 2018 when helping a friend. She saw the opaque world of transitioning from home to a senior living community. Wendy realized how challenging the process can be and how decisions become complicated when there are multiple options. These decisions must be made when a person(s) is most vulnerable and emotional.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Wendy is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Master Coach, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). She has learned the tools to offer knowledge and assistance to those embarking on what can be a most daunting voyage. Her role includes Sales Counselor at the Forum at Memorial Woods and Community Relations Manager at Belmont Village West University.
