Kay started COR Houston after seeing the enormous need for food\, clothing\, and hygiene items first hand at an HISD middle school close to her home.  \nDuring her career is as a pianist and accompanist\, Kay taught at Henderson State University \, the St. Louis Conservatory and Schools for the Arts and Rice University. Kay was always an active volunteer at her children’s school. \n
